IACC Chamber Membership Invitation

Welcome to the Chamber's 2007 Membership Invitation.
The objective of this invitation is to share with you the Chamber's activities over the past twelve months and encourage you to renew your membership or join for the first time.
In the past year, the Chamber has hosted three major delegations from Australia which totalled 70 different participants (The Property Mission led by Michael Rothner, MD-Ashe Morgan Winthrop, The High-Tech Delegation led by Australia's Minister for Communications& IT-Senator Helen Coonan and The Monash University Mission led by its President Prof. Richard Larkins). On top of this, the IACC handled in some way or another, over 140 trade-related enquiries, dealt with close to 100 visitors and assisted 70 Israeli business-people visit Australia.
In addition, an outbound Mission organised in conjunction with the Israel Export Institute had Mr Binyamin 'Fuad' Ben-Eliezer MK, Minister for National Infrastructures lead a Delegation To Australia focusing on Water.
The coming months will see the Chamber host the Inaugural Melbourne Manhigim Mission, a health Delegation from Western Australia and later in the year a large Mission is expected to attend the Water Conference/Exhibition which coincides with the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of Be'er-Sheba fought and won by the ANZACs. Plus we're expecting an array of other visits, planned events and activities.
As you can appreciate, the IACC is a private, non profit, non-Government organisation dedicated to the promotion of bi-lateral trade and relations. Funding is provided through the IACC's Functions, Trade Missions, Sponsors and most importantly our members.
The Chamber is fortunate to work closely with it's six Sister Chambers in Australia and NZ (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland-NZ.) Today the IACC represents one of Australia's strongest networking organisations.

I think the IACC constitutes a great spirit of non passivity for long term Israeli Australians to grab hold of and embrace. I think their collaborative, affirmative and assertive approach in an often hostile environment, is the stuff to give meaning to our immigration to Israel, considering the non refugee nature of Australians’ immigration to Israel.- M.F.)
